After the terrific success of last year's product, SCX is launching new NASCAR licensed products for 2007

NASCAR Racing
NASCAR is the most popular motor championship in the United States. NASCAR was created in the difficult era of post-WWII (1948), when due to a shortage of new cars, Hill France, the President of NASCAR, had the idea of transforming street (stock) cars into top racing vehicles.

Since then NASCAR has grown to become the second most popular professional sport in terms of television ratings inside the U.S. with a very large international audience as well: NASCAR races are broadcasted in over 150 countries with more than 75 million fans.

Digital Technology
Change lanes to pass your competitors: Thanks to the digital technology you can now change lanes and pass your competitors by only pressing the button of your hand throttle, sending a digital instruction to the car. More realistic and exciting!

Compete with up to 6 players: No need to wait your turn to play SCX. Now this new digital system allows up to 6 payers on the same 2 lane track. More Competition!

Monitor constant race information: Digital communication is constantly flowing between the car and the hand throttle as well as each SCX electronic accessory: Chronometer, Lap Counter and Pit box. More Real!

Determine your race strategy: By adding the Pit Box accessory, you can program each race in a unique way by adjusting fuel tank size, entering the Pit Box to refuel the car, and/or adjusting brake intensity. When you run low on fuel, your smart car will start to stutter, or if you enter pit row to fast, you get a penalty. More Strategic!

Track
SCX opens a new category in its catalog with the NASCAR Digital Set. This new racing system allows players to feel the real emotions of competing on a Tri-Oval racecourse with real molded banked curves and 3 lane changing tracks - allowing cars to pass their rivals (or avoid crashes).

You can reach high speed in the straight sections of the track, but you must maintain control in the curves while using the cross-over tracks to overtake your competitors - just like at a real NASCAR speedway!!

Cars

# 9 Dodge Charger

This Dodge Charger has a long and sharp body emphasizing its great aerodynamics. The front has a cross-hair air intake and above that the Charger and Dodge logos are emphasized with a combination of the two primary colours white and red (different from the 2006 decoration). In the lateral of the car, each sponsor´s logo is clearly displayed as well as the legendary #9. The wheels are a unique red color, while the wide tyres and ¨grippy¨ rubber replicate the authentic Goodyear tyres used by all NASCAR teams in 2007.
The interior of the vehicle, as typical in all NASCAR cars, is quite simple with emphasis on the roll bars and other
safety features. At the back, the big Dodge logo and a black curved spoiler have a predominant position.

# 17 Ford Fusion

The attention for detail by SCX is clearly visible in the decoration of this Ford Fusion: from the big logo of the sponsor DEWALT, to the smaller logos on the rest of the car (number 17 in the left headlamp, the driver´s signature on the ceiling, the Ford logo on top of the air intake and in the laterals, etc.).
Yellow and black are the predominant colours in this 2007 decoration, which really stands out when speeding around the track. The laterals clearly emphasize the car # 17, known by all to be driven by Matt Kenseth.
A simple decoration on the back of the car emphasizes the primary sponsor and would seem very intimidating if you were following this car at 200 mph on a real race track.

# 29 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

The front of the vehicle emphasizes the primary sponsors PENNZOIL Shell, while detailing the unique features of the Monte Carlo racing machine. As you can see in the photo, the predominant colours are yellow and red making the car very visible when on the track. Inside the car, you can see great details regarding the roll bars, driver, and other safety features. Along both sides of the vehicle, the SCX model accurately reflects every element of sponsorship as presented on the 2007 car owned by Richard Childress Racing and driven by Kevin Harvick.

The tyres on the SCX model reflect the wide flat tread and sporty black rims along with the name of Goodyear embossed on an outstanding type of rubber that really sticks to all types of slot car track.
